Just purchased a 228rls Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel RV. My husband really likes it, but he does not have to contend with the terrible interior design of this RV.

Going from a 12' Lance camper to a 28' 5th wheel you would think there would ample storage space comparatively speaking . A total lack of efficiency and usage within the interior is exasperating. The cabinets all have ridiculous angles to them which make it impossible to fit with any off the shelf containers since most are constructed either square, rectangular or circular, which will leave an abundance of unusable space. The refrigerator is smaller.

The bathroom is a ridiculous layout with a medicine cabinet, no drawers, rounded corner place for the toilet area, no wash rag or towel racks and no place to put one either. The kitchen cabinet too high to be reached without a ladder. Just to explain how inefficient and unusable the design is, even the plastic utensil divider that came with the trailer, will not accommodate the knives from our dinning utensils. I am so disappointed, as our 12' Lance Camper was so convenient and every space usable.

The booth was so much larger and comfortable. The only reason we traded was my husband wanted recliners and a couch.

But the bathroom was on one level with no stairs to climb. We a stuck for now, but I don't think we will be keeping this very long.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Location: Eugene, Oregon
