Keystone RV - Cable hook ups
5 comments
We have had nothing but problems with trying to get the cable to work in our new 2012 key stone alvalche. We get off the air, but to have cable we have to run a cable throw the front window and they " Dealer" said.
" cable ready" haha on us. Does anyone one have the same problem as us, if so could you let us know how to best deal with the problem as it has been the only problem we have had so far. The dealer has fixed everything else for us and been very helpful.
Thank you for the suggestions. 2013 newby

We have a "new-to-us" 2012 Avalanche. We plan to try to hook up our Dish stuff tomorrow or the next day.
I will report back. We had a little success with the over the air hookup, but only have two channels. What is odd is that after awhile of watching, it will just start pixeling out... and then say no signal.
Weird.
Anyway, we will report back with the satellite hookups. If you have an update that might help us, please let us know.
Well ours was cable ready in the bedroom area of our 2007 springdale.
But to have the same tv hooked up in the galley area where everyone could watch tv, we just had the dealer put in another connection so we don't have to run it through the window and paid for it ourselves.
We just bought a Montana HC and the satellite cable connecter in the outside box goes to a jumper in the back of the trailer inside one of the cabinets, why I have no idea. I had to drill *** in the counter top to bring the satellite feed up and then everything is ok. So look around they put them in the strangest places.
OWN A 2012 Lredo36ft have same trouble need 2 install cable connection on back 4 sat onlyrsp ok
There is a antenna ampliflier booster that is turned on that will override cable signal, located where bedroom tv is hooked up
Turn off then program cable channels
