Keystone RV - Crap QC
I bought in Nov of 16, camped once and then winterized.
2017 the RV was in for a shower door repair that turned into a 6 week wait. We camped 6 times last year never farther than an hour from home.
June 11th 2018 we took off on our first long trip and our 8th outing in the 2016 Montana High Country 353RL. We parked for the night, got up and started getting ready to leave. I pulled in the kitchen slide and something broke, made a loud noise and broke pieces of my floor and wall next to the slide.
Now we cant cook and have to eat out if we get tired of microwaveable meals The Route 66 extended warranty wont fix parts of the trailer damaged from the slide malfunctions, collateral damage if you will.
Sitting in TX in 104 degree heat when the AC in the bedroom lost contact with the thermostat. The bedroom AC doesn't show on the thermostat and the bedroom AC wont work.
I have a heart condition, after 2 heart attacks we had to sit in the RV with the shades drawn, bedroom door closed and turn on a box fan on us to stay cool during the day for the week we were there. Great vacation so far eh?
2 days later the living room slide cable broke and I have to push on the slide and lift the bottom to get the slide in.
I spoke with Customer service at Keystone and was told to my face it wasn't their problem, I am past the year warranty.
The RV repair shop across the street from the Keystone factory cant find the time to help or get me in anytime soon and I'm 1200 miles from home.
I'll lose my credit rating because I'm not paying for something that's broken down in the first 18 months of the 20 yr loan term.
NEVER buy a Keystone, their quality is poor and customer assistance is non existent. Thanks for screwing me out of $74,000 Keystone
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $52000.
Preferred solution: Help me get my RV quickly fixed so the heat dosent cause another heart problem.
Keystone RV Pros: It when it worked.
Keystone RV Cons: That things broke as i traveled on my first long trip.

I have had nothing but trouble with these guys. I wish I had never purchased one of their products.
Unfortunately you get so far into $$$ itโs almost impossible to afford. I would take them to court if I could.
Thanks Bud, thatโs much more than I got out of the company.
Take them to court. Lemon law?
Great suggestion! When I get home I want to look into it. Thanks
Come on Keystone youโre better than this! Fix the mans RV.
