We've had our 2014 Montana High Country 5th wheel for about 5 years now. Not a week goes by that something doesn't break.

I've taken it in stride and just sort of fixed problems as they come up. Recently, the lower metal panel that runs the length of the slide-out began to separate from the fiberglass body. Upon further inspection, it became obvious that the unit was not assembled properly, see photos. I knew the warranty was out, but decided to contact Keystone anyway to see if they would stand by their product.

No such luck. They were not interested in the least to help solve the problem.

They recommended that I take the unit to one of their "Master Certified Technicians"...we all know how that goes. Anyway, just wanted to share my experience and get the word out about the low quality of Keystone products.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Keystone RV Pros: Appearance and layout of the unit.

Keystone RV Cons: Extremely low quality of the unit inside and out.

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona

Here's the latest response after I tried to explain to them that no screws are missing...they still don't get it. We understand your position.

However, had the screws and seal been missing from the date of manufacturing, issues would have presented themselves much sooner in this area. Also, there is no previous history with this issue regarding your unit. This issue has been reviewed by management and the service team and we see no defect presented in the photos supplied. What we see is lack of owner maintenance.

Furthermore, the warranty on your unit warranty expired 6/23/2015. Due to the above, Keystone respectfully declines good will participation with this repair as you requested. If you have extended warranty you may want to review this issue with them or your insurance company.

Keystone does continue to stand ready to assist you with answering technical questions and locating dealers and/or repair centers if the need arises. If you have other new questions or concerns; not regarding the above issue, please contact owner relations at (866) 425-**** Monday-

This is one of the responses I got from Keystone RV stating that they think screws fell out...totally clueless. Thank you for your reply.

Keystone RV is committed to building a defect free product and I am sorry to read that you experienced problems with your 2014 Montana High Country. Please know, we do care about our customers. However, occasionally a problem will present itself on one of our units. Knowing the reality of this, Keystone provides each customer with a One Year Limited Warranty from the original purchase date.

Upon evaluating the pictures you furnished, it appears the screws have fallen out while traveling. Therefore, this is not a warrantable Keystone claim. Furthermore, the warranty on your unit expired on 6/23/2015.

Due to the above, Keystone respectfully declines good will participation with this repair as you requested. Please know that Keystone stands ready to assist you with any future questions or concerns should the need arise.

That is EXACTLY what my 2014 Sprinter fifth wheel looks like. Come to find out the outriggers ( the triangular metal piece that is welded to the frame and extends the width of the camper) that everything sits on, are bending because they are flimsy and can not hold the weight.

POOR design , POOR quality, POOR construction !!!

And Keystone will do NOTHING !!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!

Is that something you can see just by looking? Is there a fix that you know of?

Wait till the walls or side panels start to fall off !! The outriggers that the whole camper is built on are so flimsy that they bend and the walls that rest on them fall off !!!

POOR design quality. Keystone will do NOTHING !!!

Thanks for sharing, looking to buy and this will help. Should have been under upper siding material for water drainage and screwed securely with the shown molding screws.
